Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (RAKTA) is participating as part of the Ras Al Khaimah Government Pavilion at AIM Congress 2026, taking place in Dubai from 7 to 9 September. RAKTA’s presence forms part of the Ras Al Khaimah Government’s wider representation at one of the world’s leading platforms bringing together investors, decision-makers, entrepreneurs and innovators to explore future investment and partnership opportunities.
At AIM Congress, RAKTA is showcasing the RAKTA Autonomous Vehicle Sandbox (RAKTA AV Sandbox), alongside the Autonomous Vehicle Simulation System and its future applications (AV Simulation). These projects reflect the Authority’s commitment to developing an integrated environment for testing autonomous mobility technologies, exploring their future applications, and enhancing the Emirate’s readiness to adopt smart and innovative mobility solutions.
The RAKTA AV Sandbox aims to provide a dedicated environment for testing autonomous vehicle technologies and smart mobility initiatives through a phased approach. This begins with technical testing and safety assessment, followed by structured operational trials, and ultimately future deployment in line with regulatory requirements and readiness levels. The project supports the development of an integrated autonomous mobility ecosystem while creating opportunities for collaboration with technology developers, operators and investors in the mobility sector.
RAKTA is also showcasing its AV Simulation for Safety Testing project, which enables the virtual testing of autonomous vehicle behavior and performance across a range of traffic environments and scenarios. This enhances safety validation processes before transitioning to trials on public roads, while supporting the development of safer and more efficient autonomous mobility solutions.
RAKTA’s participation in the Congress reflects its commitment to showcasing future-oriented projects in the transport sector and exploring opportunities for collaboration and partnerships with investors and specialized organizations.
