As part of the joint efforts between RAKTA and the General Command of Ras Al Khaimah Police aimed at enhancing traffic safety for means of transportation in the emirate, RAKTA organized an awareness workshop for students of Ras Al Khaimah Secondary School for Boys, in the presence of H.E Maktoum Nasser Muraddad – Deputy Director General and H.E the Brigadier General / Ahmed Al-Sam Al-Naqbi – Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department and a number of officials.
The workshop touched on raising awareness of traffic laws and regulations and clarifying the importance of adhering to them while driving vehicles on the roads because of their importance in enhancing traffic safety in the hearts of students. Where they explained how to apply for the service of opening a driver’s license file through the MOI application. And the conditions that follow from it, noting the serious consequences of driving vehicles before obtaining a driver’s license, which exposes them to legal accountability.
The workshop was held yesterday, Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at the headquarters of the Emirates Society for Social Development.
