Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (RAKTA), represented by, H.E. Eng. Esmaeel Hasan Al Blooshi, Director General of RAKTA, participated in the opening panel discussion held in Salalah, Oman, on the first day of the UITP Middle East and North Africa Transport Conference 2024. The session featured several expert speakers and focused on enhancing urban sustainability through public transportation in the Middle East and North Africa.
The discussion highlighted the integration of green technologies and advanced systems to enhance the efficiency and appeal of public transportation. Additionally, it showcased RAKTA’s visions and future plans to achieve greater sustainability in the transport sector and support urban development in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.
This was during the conference hosted by the Oman National Transport Company, “Mwasalat.”
