RAKTA’s Director General attended the Policy Board meeting of the International Association of Public Transport (UITP) in Porto, Portugal. The meeting was attended by a number of global leaders in the public transport sector, where public transport policies on various topics were discussed and efforts were made to develop the public transport system according to the procedures adopted by the committee and the UITP.
Additionally, the meeting provided an opportunity to review the best practices in public transporta-tion (metro, tram, and public buses) implemented in the city of Porto, as well as sharing lessons learned among the committee members
