H.E Nasser Salem Muraddad – RAKTA’s Board of Directors Chairman, chaired the final Board of Directors meeting for the year 2020. In the presence of H.E Youssef Mohamed Esmaeel – Vice Chairman of the Board, H.E. Eng. Esmaeel Hasan Al Blooshi – General Manager of RAKTA, and all members of the Council.
Where the results of RAKTA’s projects and initiatives for the current year, projects and development plans for the next three years were presented. H.E Nasser Muraddad praised the efforts of the Council and the Authority during the year 2020 by implementing a number of initiatives and pioneering projects that enabled the authority to face the current challenges during the COVID19 pandemic.
H.E General Manager of RAKTA praised the departments ’keenness to link their goals with RAKTA’s strategy, which clearly contributed to the continuity of business and the achievement of project targets in light of the current challenges.
The estimated budgets for the year 2021 was also presented during the meeting, and the most prominent projects and initiatives that ensure appropriate qualification to keep pace with the changes and developments in the transport sector.
