In line with RAKTA’s vision of “Pioneering in regulating the transportation sector and ensuring the provision of safe, reliable and smart transportation services” and in alignment with its digital transformation strategy, RAKTA has expanded its advance booking service for taxis to include hotels and resorts in the emirate.
The Director of Operations and Maintenance stated that this innovative service allows tourists and visitors to the emirate to easily travel to various destinations through the guest reception service in just a few simple steps. This enables staff to request the service from centralized taxi collection points.
He added that a key feature of the new service is the ability for hotel staff to access the advance booking service, allowing them to request multiple taxis simultaneously, which improves the transportation experience and enhances visitor comfort.
He further explained that the launch of the service in hotels and resorts is part of the RAKTA’s efforts to provide smart transport solutions that meet customer needs and enhance the quality of life in Ras Al Khaimah. He also confirmed that RAKTA is continuing its efforts to expand the service to other locations, contributing to a comprehensive improvement in customer experience.
