The agreement aims to enhance the efficiency of government services and accelerate the customer journey by enabling the secure and instant electronic exchange of data and information. This contributes to simplifying licensing procedures, improving data accuracy, and ensuring the continuous delivery of services without interruption.
The agreement also allows both parties to develop shared operational mechanisms and define roles and responsibilities within a unified framework for delivering integrated services. This includes processes related to registering and renewing economic activities associated with transport services, as well as the payment of related fees.
H.E. Eng. Esmaeel Hasan Al Blooshi emphasized that this integration reflects RAKTA’s strategic direction toward digital transformation and strengthening inter-governmental connectivity. He explained that the integration will reduce customer processing time and enable real-time data exchange, positively impacting service quality and supporting the sustainable growth and development of the transport sector in Ras Al Khaimah.
H.E. Dr. Abdulrahman Mohammed Al Shayeb Al Naqbi, Director General of the Department of Economic Development, stated that signing the agreement comes as part of the Department’s efforts to apply best government practices and strengthen institutional partnerships. He affirmed that cooperation with the Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority aligns with the Government’s vision for digital integration and achieving operational efficiency.
He added: “Through this agreement, RAK DED aims to streamline the customer journey and provide faster and more transparent services, enhancing Ras Al Khaimah’s position as an attractive destination for investment and business.”
This agreement represents a model for effective government integration that contributes to improving service quality and achieving customer satisfaction through a fully integrated digital system that supports government efficiency and drives sustainable economic growth in the Emirate.
