RAKTA implements a training workshop for bus drivers

In preparation for launching the first phase of the public transport project in Ras Al Khaimah, the security and safety team in RAKTA, in cooperation and coordination with the Civil Defense Department in Ras Al Khaimah, carried out a training workshop for bus drivers.

The workshop comes in implementation of the annual plan of the security and safety team, which includes the training and awareness programs for all transport drivers in the emirate, with the aim of rehabilitating them and raising their capabilities to face emergencies and enhancing their efficiency and readiness.

The workshop included a detailed explanation of the types and methods of using fire extinguishers, in addition to practical training on the evacuation mechanism for buses in emergency cases.

At the end of the workshop, Mr. Abdullah Ali Al-Hasani, Head of the Security and Safety Team at RAKTA, thanked the Civil Defense Department in Ras Al Khaimah, representing their efforts in raising awareness and educating preventive safety measures in transportation and facilities in general.
