As part of its annual excellence plan, RAK Transport Authority (RAKTA) has achieved 7 leading international awards within the Global Middle East Stevie Awards, where the categories included winning three gold awards, three silver awards and a bronze award in the following categories:
Award for Innovation in Education or Training Apps “Gold” category
Award for Innovation in Investor Relations “Gold” category
Award for Innovation in Brand Renovation and Re-Branding “Gold” category
Award for Innovation in Business Utility Apps “Silver” category
Award for Excellence in Innovation in Business Product and Service Industries “Silver” category
Award for Innovative Management in Government “Silver” category
Award for Innovation in Energy and Sustainability “Bronze” category
H.E. Eng. Esmaeel Hasan Al Blooshi, General Manager of RAKTA, stated that this victory came as an appreciation for the efforts made by the authority to achieve its vision of “Pioneering in regulating the transportation sector and ensuring the provision of safe, reliable and smart transportation services”.
His Excellency also affirmed that the authority pursues innovation and future foresight as a strategic approach in all its projects and initiatives, believing in the necessity of keeping pace with global developments in transport services.
He also confirmed that the authority seeks to compete in the transport and communications sector through its participation in these international awards, and to have a leading position among the transport sectors in the world.
