Second Meeting with Strategic Partners

In pursuit of aligning governmental visions and strategic partnerships to serve the community, Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (RAKTA) held its second meeting with key partners from various economic and service sectors that collaborate with RAKTA to provide services to the public from diverse segments of society. The meeting aimed to broaden communication between RAKTA and its partners to strengthen and enhance the bonds of mutual cooperation, emphasizing collective efforts to achieve joint initiatives and projects to contribute to realizing the directives of the wise government for the public interest and to enhance services provided to the public.

RAKTA hosted H.E Brigadier Jamal Ahmed Al Tair, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Resources Authority, in addition to the presence of H.E Brigadier Dr. Tariq Mohammed bin Saif, Director General of Police Operations, and H.E Brigadier Mohammed Obaid Al Khateri, Director General of Resources and Support Services, along with several officials from the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, and the Civil Defense Directorate in Ras Al Khaimah.

RAKTA reviewed several important topics to enhance collaborative work, including presenting its strategic plan for 2023-2027 and its comprehensive mobility plan for Ras Al Khaimah 2023-2030, as well as future transportation infrastructure projects in the emirate.

RAKTA also presented a video showcasing its achievements during the year 2023, which included statistics and results of mobility in the emirate, executed projects, and local and international awards received by the authority.

The meeting also included a tour of several vital facilities in RAKTA and familiarization with modern smart services and technologies, including the Smart Control and Monitoring Center, and getting insights into RAKTA’s services through hologram technology and visiting the Smart Training Center.

In conclusion, H.E Eng. Esmaeel Hasan Al Blooshi, Director General of RAKTA, expressed his happiness and appreciation for the continuous efforts and support provided by the strategic partners. He emphasized that cooperation and integration of efforts between RAKTA and its partners are of great importance in light of the convergence of visions and goals to embody the vision of the Ras Al Khaimah government 2030, contributing to meeting the needs of the community and providing the best services.
