The Board of Directors of RAKTA held its third meeting for the year 2020, headed by H.E. Nasser Salem Muraddad – Chairman of the Board of Directors and in the presence of H.E. Youssef Mohamed Esmaeel – Vice Chairman of the Board and members of the Board of Directors. Also attended the meeting H.E.Eng Esmaeel Hasan Al Blooshi – RAKTA General Manager.
In the meeting, the council discussed the measures taken by the authority during the previous period regarding preventive safety measures from the pandemic of Coronavirus (COVID19), where the council thanked all RAKTA employees for their great efforts to maintain the progress of operational procedures, continue to provide all services to customers, and non-stop Or interruption during the previous period. In addition to the success achieved by the authority in the remote work experience.
The Council also reviewed some of the Authority’s projects included in the approved work plans for the year 2020, including (Careem) Application launch project in Ras Al Khaimah, as approved by the Council as a pilot phase during the coming period. The Council also reviewed the procedures for regulating the limousine sector (luxury vehicles) in The Emirate.
At the end of the meeting, the council wished success to the authority in achieving all its service projects that are in line with the development and strategic plans of Ras Al Khaimah’s government vision 2030.
