The project is one of the main mile stone in the digital transformation process of the services, it is a specialized platform that provides smart and fast services to customers, since it enables customers to complete their transactions related to the main, complementary and subsidiary services provided by RAKTA through the interactive website and also through the authority’s smart application that will be launched on the platform MRAK for smart applications.
The project aims to provide smart training and development services for taxi drivers through a smart training platform (Albousala), with the aim of raising the efficiency and driving skills of drivers, the app enables the attendance for a large number of users at the same time, it contributes to improving the security and transportation safety system by obligating drivers to undertake specialized courses that raise awareness about related subjects such as traffic rules, safe driving, it also linking incentive system for the drivers with their behaviors and practices on road.
It is a smart portal through which the authority aims to provide distinguish and smart services, it enables the employees to submit their suggestions, ideas, and developmental opinions, it also allows the employee to follow the process of evaluating their ideas and get the feedback regarding the feasibility of the suggestions, the app saves the intellectual property rights for their ideas and contributes to achieving the principles of good governance in transparency and equality.
he project is a smart training and awareness platform, it contributes to achieving the authority’s strategic goal of providing distinct and smart services to build leadership and management capabilities, as it provides employees with the latest specialized, professional courses, the platform have presentations of recorded training videos in different fields and topics and enables the employee to follow them online, and therefore it contribute to facilitating the training and performance development process for the employee, giving them a wider choice in time and place, and also it allows for an evaluation of the training course and testing the training efficiency by subjecting the trainees to exams after the end of each training.
The project is a comprehensive internal platform, which includes a set of applications and systems that represent a basic reference for employees in getting information and interacting with the systems and applications on the platform, it enables employees of RAKTA to follow the latest developments and activities implemented by the authority. and to follow their tasks through performance management systems, and give access to the innovation hub, and undergo training on the platform, as well as providing access to important documents and files that employees need in their daily work.
Based on the digital transformation strategy adopted by the Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority, RAKTA accomplish the ERP system in order to automate the internal processes (financial, human resources, and licenses issuance for business activities), in order to reach the best practices in providing electronic service, the project used the latest global technologies the 360 Dynamic Microsoft and the Cloud System storage, it was completed in two phases and launched in March of 2020.
