H.E Eng. Esmaeel Hasan Al Blooshi – General Manager of RAKTA, was briefed on the progress of the smart meters project and the smart camera system in taxi, which was launched as an experimental phase at the beginning of 2021.
H.E stressed the importance of these smart systems in enhancing transportation security in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, and raising the quality of transportation services provided to customers, which contributes to raising the quality of life for the residents of Ras Al Khaimah.
H.E also stressed the necessity to complete the installation of smart meters in all taxis according to the time dimension specified previously.
