A delegation from RAKTA participated in the activities of the MENA Transport Congress and Exhibition, headed by H.E Eng. Esmaeel Hasan Al Blooshi – General Manager of RAKTA and a number of officials. During which the delegation was briefed on the latest technologies, programs and pioneering applications in the field of transportation and communications. The delegation also participated in attending a number of discussion sessions held on the sidelines of the conference.
H.E indicated that this participation comes as part of RAKTA’s support for the UITP and the authority’s endeavors to learn about the best global and local practices and technologies in the field of mobility, artificial intelligence techniques, self-driving vehicle technologies and sustainable transport solutions such as electric buses and vehicles.
It is worth noting that the conference carried the slogan “Building the Future of Mobility”, during which many experts and specialists in the field of sustainable transport were hosted. This contributed to enriching the conference with global knowledge and experiences, and allowed the opportunity to ask questions and participate in new innovative ideas in the field of mobility.
The delegation visited a number of platforms in the exhibition, such as the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority, and the Dubai Police’s Transportation Security Administration, in addition to a number of platforms for bus manufacturers, electric vehicles and self-driving vehicles, and companies for technical and digital solutions for transportation systems.
