RAKTA held an Employees Forum that would enhance the communication between the administration and employees and encourage them to share their suggestions and experiences. The forum was held remotely via a visual communication feature in the presence of His Excellency Eng. Esmaeel Al Blooshi, RAKTA’s general manager and a group of employees. This organized forum comes with the aim of listening to all the employees ’opinions and development proposals and encouraging them to return to the workplace, in addition to directing them to work in a team spirit under the current circumstances.
The forum was moderated by H.E.Eng. Esmaeel Al Blooshi, General Manager of RAKTA, initially, he commended the efforts of all employees during the previous stage and their ability to overcome all confrontations and challenges, as he confirmed the ability and readiness of the Authority to succeed in the remote work system through the available systems that led to the smoothness of work and the continued productivity, It also contributed to the speedy taking of precautionary steps and measures during this crisis.
The forum included all employees opinions and discussion of their experiences with working remotely and how to overcome the obstacles they faced, and the importance of the training platform made by the authority to the employees to enable them to acquire skills and develop their cognitive abilities by attending training courses in various fields comes to the continuity of the training system during Remote working period. On the other hand, his Excellency touched on the discussion of strategic plans and old systems used in the authority and ways to replace them with modern systems that keep pace with developments is support of digital infrastructure, pointing out that the authority aspires to transfer all its services to smart services at the end of 2020.
All employees thanked His Excellency for the presence of such smart systems that helped in facilitating and accomplishing work under the current conditions that would contribute to maintaining their safety and that of their families. Furthermore, several employees expressed their satisfaction in achieving the largest number of field visits in the field of inspection and control, they showed their dedication, keenness to work and provide all the best for the Emirate.
At the end of the forum, His Excellency expressed his hope by continuing to organize such forums that enhance communication between all employees and encourage them to work in a team spirit to raise the level of competence and a sense of career belonging. Also, he confirmed the importance of reading and its great role in raising the intellectual and practical level of employee development, their ability to respond to all challenges and improve the overall performance of achieving ideal institutional development.
