Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (RAKTA) has won the bronze award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) in the United Kingdom in the category of Occupational Health and Safety. This recognition reflects the achievements of RAKTA in the field of occupational health and safety. RAKTA has dedicated its efforts in recent years to implement the best global standards in the field of health and safety by developing organized strategies and policies to enhance the level of health and safety performance for all of its activities, in line with its vision of “Pioneering in regulating the transportation sector and ensuring the provision of safe, reliable and smart transportation services.”
Eng. Esmaeel Hassan Al Balushi, the Director General of RAKTA, stated that this achievement is a culmination of the efforts and commitments of RAKTA in providing a safe transportation system for all users, in line with the vision of the Government of Ras Al Khaimah 2030 to enhance the quality of life in the Emirate.
