H.E Eng. Esmaeel Hasan Al Blooshi – General Manager of RAKTA inspected the charging stations for electric taxis provided by RAKTA in cooperation with Etihad Water and Electricity, which comes as a translation of RAKTA’s strategic plan 2020-2025 aimed at supporting the environmental sustainability aspect.
RAKTA aims during the current year to increase the number of electric taxis in the emirate, in accordance with its strategy, to reach 30% of the taxi fleet by the end of 2030, in line with the UAE directions in the field of environment.
