In implementation of the field visits plan for the year 2023, H.E Eng. Esmaeel Hasan Al Blooshi – Director General of RAKTA, conducted an evening inspection tour of the internal public transport service in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, during which he was briefed on the customer’s experience with the service, as well as the procedures and methods for improving and developing it in accordance with the best international practices in transportation.
The inspection tour comes within the framework of RAKTA’s efforts to encourage mass transportation and improve the quality of public transport services, and out of its keenness to achieve happiness for its customers by providing safe, reliable and smart means of transportation that meet all their needs and provide them with a distinct transportation experience that connects the various regions in the emirate. During the visit, H.E also listened to the development proposals and observations of the service by the customers who use the public buses and on the trips timings, arrival times of the buses to the stopping points of the various routes and the extent of adherence to them, in addition to the mechanism and sales outlets of E-Saqr cards that allow the customer to pay smartly for transportation tariffs easily.
