RAKTA inaugurated the first phase of the Marine transport project with heritage Abras in Ras Al Khaimah Creek, through a ceremony held this morning, Wednesday, at Al Qawasim Corniche, where H.E. Nasser Salem Muraddad, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and H.E. Eng. Esmaeel Hasan Al Blooshi – General Manager of RAKTA received the guests.
The ceremony was attended by Sheikh Saeed bin Majid Al Qasimi – CEO of Arabia Holding Company, and their Excellencies, General Manager of Ras Al Khaimah Municipality Department, General Manager of the Public Services Department, General Manager of the Environment Protection and Development Authority, General Manager of Ras Al Khaimah Radio and a number of representatives of local and media departments and authorities.
The ceremony included a presentation on the project and the expansion plans expected during the next phase. The attendees also listened to a brief explanation about the monitoring techniques of smart cameras installed in the Abra and linked to the smart control center.
At the end of the ceremony, H.E RAKTA’s General Manager thanked and appreciated all the partners and supporters in implementing this stage and valued their efforts. H.E also thanked everyone who attended and participated in the inauguration ceremony.
The ceremony concluded with a distinguished cruise for RAKTA’s guests in Ras Al Khaimah Creek.
