Implementing an awareness campaign on lost and found items procedures in transportation

In fulfillment of RAKTA’s vision “ Pioneering in regulating the transportation sector and ensuring the provision of safe, reliable and smart transportation services ” RAKTA implemented a comprehensive awareness campaign for taxi, bus drivers and call center employees about the mechanism and procedures for reporting lost and found items. This is in order to reduce the proportion of lost property and increase the rate of finds in Ras Al Khaimah transportation.
During the year 2021, RAKTA seeks to apply and adapt artificial intelligence techniques by installing new cameras in taxis and buses, as this technology will facilitate the process of tracking lost items and accessing them as quickly as possible.
