Meeting between RAKTA, RAK police GHQ, and the General Resources Authority
The General Resources Authority hosted a meeting between RAKTA, RAK Police GHQ, and itself, attended by HE Eng. Esmaeel Hassan Al Baloushi the GM of RAKTA, HE Jamal Ahmed Altair , Chairman of the general Resources Authority BoD, and HE Brigadier General Adel Al Ghais, Director of Vehicle and Driver Licensing in RAK Police. The Attendees agreed that this meeting will be the cornerstone upon which a strong relationship of cooperation will be built, serving the vision of the Government of Ras Al Khaimah, and keeping up with the development the RAK is undergoing in all aspects. The possibility of interconnectivity with the Traffic Department Systems was discussed, which would save time and effort for the customers. Cooperation in fighting illegal passenger transportation through joint operations, and installing monitoring cameras in passenger transportation buses and taxis were also discussed.
HE Eng Esmaeel Hassan Al Baloushi emphasized that RAKTA’s Strategy is built upon cooperation with all relevant entities and the sharing of all possible data and information, and HE expressed extreme interest in the training and habilitation of drivers in the Transportation sector. Many subjects were discussed including Vehicle Towing and Regulation of the School Transportation Sector.
