Based on Ras Al Khaimah’s vision aimed at enhancing the business environment to build a competitive economy based on the availability and development of quality initiatives with global impact, and in pursuit of the emirate’s strategic objectives by facilitating business practice in issuing and renewing economic licenses, RAK Transport Authority signed a memorandum of understanding with Department of Economic Development to accelerate the renewal of economic licenses “automatic renewal” within the government accelerator program.
The importance of this memorandum lies in strengthening cooperation relations in a way that contributes to simplify operations, reduce procedures and time, get rid of manual procedures and paper transactions, and reducing the number of customer visits to other federal and local government agencies involved in renewing economic licenses. In addition, this cooperation directly supports Improving and developing the customer experience and contributes to raising satisfaction rates and flexibility of procedures.
