Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (RAKTA) was honored with the UAE Ideas Award, in the Environment (Green Applications) category during its 10th cycle for the year 2023. The awards were organized by Dubai Quality Group and His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Chairman of Dubai Quality Group personally presented the award to Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority. They were recognized for their electric taxi project.
This prestigious award reflects RAKTA’s commitment to supporting initiatives and promoting eco transportation in Ras Al Khaimah. It also highlights their efforts to expand the use of friendly taxis.
