A delegation from RAKTA visits the American University of Ras Al Khaimah

In order to activate the terms of the cooperation agreement between Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (RAKTA) and the American University of Ras Al Khaimah, a delegation from RAKTA headed by H.E Eng. Esmaeel Hasan Al Blooshi, General Manager of RAKTA visited the American University of Ras Al Khaimah. where the delegation of RAKTA was received by H.E Prof. Hasan Hamdan Al Alkim – President of the University and a number of university leaders.

The visit included a meeting between all organizational units from both sides, during which a comprehensive overview of the academic disciplines, facilities, services and benefits that the university provides to its students was presented by the university president, in addition to the university’s future plans and directions. On the other hand, General Manager of RAKTA also touched on the operational services that can be provided to facilitate mobility for students, such as public buses, taxis, mini-mobility services and others.

H.E Eng. Esmaeel Al Blooshi confirmed the importance of this strategic educational partnership with the university as one of the leading universities in the country, and RAKTA’s belief in its role to achieve leadership in the educational sector in order to achieve the vision of Ras Al Khaimah Government 2030.

For his part, H.E Prof. Hassan Hamdan Al Alkim welcomed this agreement, which achieves partnership with government departments in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah to enhance the emirate’s position in the field of academic education and provide the finest services to students and visitors to the university.

At the end of the visit, the delegation made a field tour to the university campus and discussed the frameworks and areas of cooperation available between the two sides, which included cooperation in the fields of (student training, staff training, student transportation operational services, use of campus facilities, events) and others.
